Tony King & Kris Ralph have been singing and performing live together for over ten years. Kris Ralph is an accomplished performer/singer who's rich tone, vocal range and interpretation of lyrics combine to give her a unique sound. She spent her youth treading the boards in Theatres all over Australia acting and singing her way around the Nation. Kris also writes songs ,is an accomplished rhythm guitarist and plays percussion. Tony is an extremely versatile multi-instrumentalist/singer who plays world class electric & acoustic guitars. His versions of Jimmy Hendrix's "Foxy Lady”, and Mark Knoffler's "Sultan's of Swing" are legendary. Tony & Kris have performed to full houses at , The Basement & The Famous Spiegeltent in Sydney & Melbourne with their favourite musicians in The Beautifully Mad Band, playing all original songs from their many and varied albums. They were the recipients of more awards than any other songwriters in the Australian Songwriters Awards 2006. Tony was nominated for Australian songwriter of the Year. |
